Beginning?

This is purely written by experience so don't take this as the best.

If you're new to the server, or private servers in general, here are some tips.
-Start with a warrior or aran, they have high damage and high hp so the cost for pots will be down even thought they may give you some. Also, warriors don't require a lot of money like assassins to buy stars and pirates to buy bullets. Another reason is that hp pots generally cost less than mp pots.

-If you don't like warriors then you may choose to go with another job choice as long as you stick with it. Some private servers don't allow AP resets (but Divide does =]) so sticking with one job/path will allow you max that one path's AP and therefore will be you path to maxing all the other AP.

-Generally, choose a close range job since those are generally more powerful unless you have some crazy funding and etc.

*Once again, this is purely based on my OWN experiences with private servers, but hey, what do I know?

i wouldnt stick with just 1 job, just reset your ap and get a new job, in the end you do need most of the skills to get more powerfull (:

Don't forget that clerics are pretty epic. Heal on undead mobs, no need for HP pots, and Genesis. The strongest of all the mages, imo.

Somewhat. I'd suggest Hero out of all the jobs. Good damage, good HP (for living), and good bosser and monster killer (brandish). Eh thats what I usually stick with. In the beginning of course.
