my first banner

hi i was waiting on someboddy and was bored so i was making this pleas rate it and give maybe some tips? i did delete the first one and this is my second made.

i think its too blurry... and the chars are pretty small when the whole banner is very big but i think that if you had given it few more fixes it could have been better

i did make more xd so is this one better?

but i personally think the size it a bit bigger for the small letters....

pleas tell me too if its good enough to use it for the forum banner?

the background is too contrasting. And the black font isn't that decent looking. The font style itself, and the color.

I agree with Brian and Dor.

The size of it is a tad big for everything. Maybe make it smaller by 1/3 for the height? Plus, I don't find the banner, in my view, too appealing. The font and words don't attract to me as much as the background.

im not a big GFXer but that what i think of it...

Well, to tell you the truth, it does look better.
However, the colors of the font don't seem to match up with the background. It seems too dark. And speaking of the background, it doesn't attract to me either. The snails look like they're going to attack me aka, they're giving off a bad vibe.

This is only just my opinion.

The banner is better, but the background still looks like lame. and the snails are too small. Here is a hint on gradients: usually, gradients looks best from light to dark. Keep working it on GFXing, try different techniques, and get criticism.
